The Atlanta Jewish Music Festival is held annually and celebrates Jewish heritage through quality music and artistic experiences. For many years, AJMF held a contest with various art schools to select a new poster design for the music festival. I won and my design was used for the official 2017 poster and the marketing for the festival.
I started as a designer and illustrator, creating a design to submit for the contest. The goal of this class assignment was to create a poster design that would appeal to the client and their audience. My personal goal was to create a design that spoke to both music festival culture, a variety of ages and, most importantly, to jewish culture.
In order to entice the client, I worked as a researcher, designer and illustrator. I was one of the unanimous selections from the committee and was brought on to create the poster plus branded elements for the festival. I also collaborated with an agency to brand a sponsored event.
